Always remember you do matter and you bring to this world things that no one else can.
May you find the courage, joy and love you need from the ideas contained within these pages to brave the storms of life and come out stronger.

First Podcast
gupcast.thelivepodcast on Instagram
It was so interesting to meet the presenters on-line as this was a new experience for me.
Thank you everyone for showing such great interest in my book. It was important to talk about how people can manage their feelings of loneliness.
It was also, very helpful to receive so much encouragement and lots of brilliant ideas about publicising my book and making sure it reaches as many people as possible.
First Live Radio Interview
29th August 2024 on Valley Park Radio:
Darent Valley Hospital, Dartford, Kent
It was so interesting to meet Gemma Burgess, the presenters. The questions they asked were very helpful and we all agreed that modern loneliness is becoming an epidemic.
I chose some empowering music for the intervals that were positive. So many songs about loneliness are miserable and sad which is not what I am about.
People who are lonely need to be helped to feel happier so I chose my songs carefully, I hope you liked them too.
Hospital radio is very far reaching and not just for the patients on the wards. I recommend you listen in very often as they do a lot of fundraising for the community and people who feel lonely are everywhere in the community
I want to thank Jemma Burgess for this wonderful opportunity even if talking live is a bit more nerve racking, I soon forgot about it and enjoyed sharing the top tips in my books with listeners.
Another Great Radio Interview
23rd August 2024 on Channel Radio:
Kent Space, Ashford, Kent
This was an unexpected opportunity to share my book with the lovely people of Ashford. I was so excited to meet Kitti Castle the presenter.
This was another interesting discussion about my book and a chance for people to hear about it.
At the end Kitti said, "Thank you for coming in Suki, and that's a very good mental health charity too. and we'd love to hear if you write another book."
So, I want to say a big thank you to Kitti who was very friendly and supportive. And I'd also like to thank the team at Channel Radio in Ashford, Kent for their kindness in helping me to promote my book to all the lonely people out there.
Its very important to remember all the people that look after lonely people because its not easy to watch people you care about become sad. This book can help everyone.

First Radio Interview About This Book
20th August 2024 on Made in Kent Radio:
Bluewater Shopping Centre, Greenhithe, Kent
This was the first time I introduced my book on radio and it was a a very rewarding experience.
Matt James, the presenter was very easy to talk to and he was very interested in the relevance of my book.
Matt began by saying "This isn’t just about somebody suffering from loneliness this is a book you can buy if you have parents or friends that you think might be going through loneliness this is like a journal that you can pick up and read and understand a bit more about their lives."
It was my first opportunity to get my book known about and it was a very proud moment as I intend to raise money for charities that support people with loneliness.
Matt ended the interview with these uplifting thoughts; "Suki, well done and congratulations on the book and I think this is going to help a lot of people of all ages. And like you say, even if you don’t feel like you're suffering from loneliness at the moment, its worth a read so you can understand other people’s feelings too."
I give my thanks to Matt and his team at Made in Kent Radio for their kindness in helping me promote my book to people who can benefit from buying it.
